  1. In the early 90’s when I worked for a local courier company, I had access with a pass to the tarmac at Spokane International Airport (Geiger Field) to pick up small freight from small planes carrying mostly stuff for local banks every morning and some drugs for local hospitals coming from Seattle. All this was prior to 9/11 and the tarmac is totally restricted now to pick up freight except from the major airlines at their air freight warehouses on the outskirts of the airport off of the tarmac. I miss the old days before we gave up freedom for security.

  2. Screw the downtown donut brigade, where in hell was the TSA?

I don’t ever have food delivered, but my lazy-ass neighbors order in all the damn time. We all share a private driveway, and invariably clowns miss the exit turnout and blow past my garage instead. None of them want to back out, so they just drive up on my lawn to tirn around. I tried putting a sign up at the turnout, but they’re too busy looking at their damn phones to see it. It’s gotten so predictable that I can tell when doordash drives in, so I put an orange cone in the middle of the driveway to steer them to the exit. They get flummoxed for thirty seconds, but they figure it out. I just have to remember to put the cone away🙄
