In Wyoming; The First New American Rare Earth Mine in 70 Years

The good news on the energy and technology fronts just keeps on a’coming. In the latest, the Department of Energy on Wednesday announced the opening of the first new American rare-earth mining project in 70 years. The Ramaco Brook Mine, in Wyoming, is estimated to contain as much as 1.7 million tons of rare earth oxide. This is a big freaking deal.

  1. Keep in mind every bit of the progress we’ve made with Trump as president will be reversed the minute a democrat president is sworn in. That’s what happened with Biden and it will happen again. The last thing democrats need is regular working people thinking they don’t need to depend on Father Government for their very existence.

  2. 7.7% of the rare earth mine at Mountain Pass, California is owned by the Chinese.
    In April of this year the mine stopped shipping minerals to China. But that is because of Trump’s tariffs.

    DoD is now largest shareholder of theP mine.

  3. A totally corrupt and compromised congress was (and likely still) in the pocket of China, starting with eric swalwell. It took Trump to get the US weaned off the communists.

    That mine is owned by these folks. https://ramacoresources.com/. From what I’ve read The Trump admin pushed through the ecological studies and permits. In record time. I don’t think we will see any Senators or Congress critter wielding a pick ax there. I can’t find where there’s any Government owner ship at all.
