Tennessee Star: Attorneys with Murray Osorio, the immigration law firm representing Kilmar Abrego Garcia in his Maryland lawsuit against the Trump administration over his March deportation, admitted in a Friday hearing before U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis that they do not have access to the A-File associated with Abrego Garcia’s 2019 immigration case.
This A-File contains the filing made on behalf of Abrego Garcia in 2019, using the official government Form I-589 for seeking Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and Relief under the United Nations Convention Against Torture.
The revelation was made by Abrego Garcia’s defense attorneys in response to a question from Xinis, according to Roger Parloff and Anna Bower of Law and Crime, who both reported from the media room of the courthouse where Xinis called a Friday hearing in anticipation of her potential ruling to force U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain Abrego Garcia in Maryland.
“You do have the A-File, right?” Xinis reportedly asked Abrego Garcia’s attorneys.
Maintained by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an A-File, or Alien File, is the comprehensive record of an illegal immigrant’s interactions with immigration authorities and courts.
Deport his (Garcia’s) ass to Atlantis. Disbar those “attornies” and send them on the same stringer.
Make Garcia a gator’s lunch.
And the press and Democrats ran the SH*T out of it anyway.
