I’m always saddened when I read “in custody” wrt any shooting incident, preferring to read the shooter died at the scene from lead poisoning, either from his own hand or LE, but it is good news that all victims survived.
Too little is known to form any conclusions (terrorist, PTSD sufferer, deadbeat officer getting RIF’ed for being too fat or incompetent) but you can be sure that if the shooter falls under the jurisdiction of the UCMJ, he will be appropriately punished.
