Trump announced on Monday that he will be working to revoke no-cash bail in cities across the country, coming as Trump has honed in on cracking down on crime in the nation’s capital.
“This dire public safety crisis stems directly from the abject failures of the city’s local leadership. The radical left city council adopted no cash bail,” Trump said, noting cities that have adopted such policies like Chicago and New York City. “Somebody murders somebody, and they’re out on no cash bail before the day is out.”
“But we’re going to change no cash bail. We’re going to change the statute and get rid of some of the other things, and we’ll count on the Republicans in Congress and Senate to vote. We have the majority, so we’ll vote.”
He later added, “Cashless bail. Watch what we do with that. Today, we’re formally declaring a public safety emergency. This is an emergency.” Trump said it was “embarrassing for me to be up here, you know, I’m going to see Putin. I’m going to Russia on Friday. I don’t like being up here talking about how unsafe and how dirty and disgusting this once beautiful capital was, with graffiti all over the walls. I’m all for doing away with the cashless nonsense, but by what Constitutional mechanism can the fed govt force states to go along? Is it the old sledgehammer of withholding fed funds or is something more elegant in play?
Cashless bail is proof that the democrat party wishes to protect violent criminals and keep them on the streets to murder as many people as possible. Likely it’s just one of multiple projects put forth by globalist shitbags to depopulate the planet. That should tell you something and that something is that well meaning, but misguided is not an available option. It hasn’t been for decades. The results of what ultimately results whenever and wherever the bastards are in a position to implement their agenda. They are well documented and willing ignorance of that history is not exculpatory, it is evidence of complicity.
Having lived in the shadow of Seattle and in close proximity to Portland I have had the opportunity to observe individuals who support and vote for this shit. Trust me, irrespective of their protestations otherwise, the bastards are rotten to their absolute core. The sonsabitches go out of their way to tell you what they are and who they follow.
