DC:
President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that journalists downplaying the rampant crime in Washington, D.C., should consider going on “ride alongs” with police to witness the mess for themselves.
The corporate media has cited Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) data which shows that violent crime has dropped 26% since 2024, though these numbers are at odds with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) data and by other factors. Trump said that he is open to journalists riding along with MPD officers to witness the extent to which crime has worsened in Washington.
“It’s okay to me if [journalists] want to do it. We’re gonna work with the D.C. police,” Trump said. “They’ve got some good people in there, not all, but a lot of good, very professional [people]. And, you know, we have a big force. I think they said 3,500. They’re always asking [Democrat Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser], who’s a very nice woman, but she’s got to do the job. You know, we’ve worked with the mayor for 6 months and she’s been here for many years and the numbers are worse than they ever were. Don’t let anyone tell you they’re not and the whole statistical charts that they made, the whole thing is a rigged deal.” more

The actual beat cop does not want some smelly obnoxious journalist riding along with him. The last thing the cops want is the truth getting out about how little police work they do, their lack of “proactive” policing, and the location of their hiding spots (and donut shops) so that they can avoid any confrontations with the public.
It just occurred to me that the cartoon of the blind guy with the Press armband should be captioned “Tapper” between the left foot and the cane…

It’d only work if the journos were honest people. They’re not.
They’ll take the slightest incident and paint Trump and the cops bad and blow it up into controversy.
Take that, New Jerk Times. It stated yesterday that crimes were down this year in DC. That’s because many criminals weren’t caught. Well, there’s a new sheriff in town. Now the crime rate has gone up because the criminals are being caught, booked, jailed, etc., and the number of crimes and the crime rate has gone up.
It’s a simple concept.
Put a hundred white reporters out there citywide from 9pm and see who survives unscathed until 6am………and let them all have the same bodycams that the cops have to provide a record of their night on the town.
Once again, Trump thinks these clowns are actually interested in the Truth. The only thing the MSM “journalists” want is to report that every thing is down if Trump says they’re up and everything is up if Trump says they’re down. That’s it. That’s all they do.
