  3. I am about to cut loose a German friend whom I have known since 1985, and it’s mostly about Putin and Russia. He’s pretty conservative on most things, supports AfD, etc., but he verges on pathological when it comes to Russia. He shouts and hisses about what a dictator Putin is, and what a menace Russia is to Europe. When I ask him to provide some example of Russia’s imperial intentions or Putin’s dictatorial bent, he has nothing to offer, except that Putin has rigged elections to stay in power forever, and had Saint Navalny killed in prison, though he provides no evidence for either scenario.

    When I point out to him that his EU and NATO overlords are unelected and get their power by appointing each other into office, he is oblivious to the irony of his claims about Russia and Putin, and calls me an isolationist who is brainwashed by extreme right wing media. Talk about projection.

    I am not saying that Putin is a paragon of virtue, but when the guy gives PDT his opinion about mail-in voting, and it is spot-on, one had to think that maybe Russia does democracy better than the EU, and there are good reasons that Russia keeps electing Putin.

    It saddens me that my old friend is willing to ride the war train to disaster for Germany, in support of an actual Nazi dictatorship backed by the unelected bureaucracies of EU and NATO, but I reckon Europe will have to FAFO once again. PDT needs to at least turn off the kool-aid spigot to these fools when they come to DC Monday with their demands.

    And Lindsey Graham can go straight to hell.

  4. Of course mail-voting promotes cheating; without it, the Democrat party would continue to lose power. We have the evidence that shows this – despite the MSM being Democrat/liberal controlled they are losing viewership and influence and becoming a laughing stock, if one bothers to examine the policies and pronouncements of liberal Democrats we see that these are hypocritical and stupid, the Democrats have no policies other than TDS, and if you can’t catch Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, etc. in a lie you are trying at all.

    Cheating is the only thing left for the Democrats. Sure, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles will continue to vote Democrat because the citizens have been conditioned over the last sixty or seventy years to do this, but even in these places Republicans are making inroads. Besides, if one is too lazy to go to a polling place, one should not be permitted to vote.

    Maybe we should put pictures on Covid vaccination cards and medical marijuana permits – that way Democrats would have no excuse to get a valid ID.

  5. Yes, before the generations are gone who used to vote only with a paper ballot, and know how crooked elections have become since mail-in and electronic voting.

    There’s so much wrong today with our voting, and all of those problems make a fair and accurate vote count impossible.

    Give me back my little precinct voting place where I recognize my long-time neighbors and meet new ones.

  8. I’d love to see mail in voting banned from determining federal offices. States like the crap hole I live in would insist keeping mail in voting for state offices. Fine because sure as hell there’s going to be a big discrepancy between the two counts.

    And when that difference shows that the red vote is consistently higher, county by county, for the federal offices, you have to wonder how the scum in Olympia will spin it.

    And I believe equally important as AA points out, is counting the votes in the precinct where they were cast. Because right there they can determine exactly how many votes were cast and how many votes they’re reporting. This crazy bullshit of schuffling boxes and boxes of “ballots” to a vast counting center is ripe for fraud.

  9. The PURPOSE of vote by mail is FRAUD. Kim Wyman ushered it in here in SayWA before moving on to the 0bama administration as her reward. She supposedly was a Republican BTW. There will never be another non communist elected in this political shithole until the revolution of the proletariat is successful.

  16. As a Californian is it possible to get this done before the mid terms. The thing about mail in, it facilitates vote harvesting. So you’re killing to very bad things with one stone. This needs to be done asap.

  17. MMinWA: recounts can still be done, but they have to paid for bu the party calling for the recount if they lose. In 2000 in Florida, the Dems wanted to recount just three Dem-controlled counties which they figured they could doctor. SCOTUS ruined their plan by saying the Dems either had to recount the whole state or they couldn’t do a recount at all.

    That brings us to the 2002[?] gubernatorial election in Washington. Rossi won the first count. He won the first recount. The Dems went for a second recount. This time, they waited for all the counties except King (Seattle, the county with the biggest population) certified their results, then King County went to court to get the rules changed. That brought in the era of “boxes of uncounted ballots found in broom closets.” Later variations of this were the “boxes of uncounted ballots found in rental cars at the airport” and similar shenanigans, culminating in the 2020 Presidential election where there were 10 to 15 million more votes than had been counted in any election in almost 20 years, the results of which were to elect a guy who couldn’t fill a phone booth at his rallies during the campaign.

    The Dems have become so complacent that they thought they could get away with this stuff forever. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, they have been so extreme that people have had enough. Add to the the fact that the places they have control Ed for decades make Mogadishu look like a safe, well run city.

    Nor has it escaped our attention that when Trump makes progress that is beneficial worldwide, he is accused of collusion and being being Putin’s bitch. But if he were hard nose with Putin, you know they would say he was trying to start World War III.

    We know what side the Dems are on, and it isn’t the United States.

  21. Not only do away with mail-in voting but get rid of those “drop boxes” as well. If you are a citizen and can’t make time to vote – in person – with proper ID – on Election DAY – then your vote isn’t as important as you assumed.
