President Donald Trump meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on Monday, August 18.
The meeting comes following Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska last Friday.
Trump famously ejected Zelensky from the White House earlier this year after a contentious meeting in which the Ukrainian president criticized the United States for pushing for peace. Trump warned Zelensky he was “gambling with World War 3” by advocating for an expansion of his country’s defensive war with Russia.
The president will also meet with other European leaders alongside Zelensky later Monday.
Well, at least he wore a suit.

Zelensky is calling for a ceasefire. That is a non-starter with the Russians. These meetings are a waste of time. Russia is going to take what they want to take no matter how many sissy boys from Europe show up.

Zelensky knows if the war ends he’s finished. The people won’t put up with his shit. He’s taken over everything and wants to be dictator for life. That rarely works out.
