Welcome to Bottomville. Our cephalopod lives in a Democrat controlled town and the local neighborhood has gone to Hell with muggings and other violent crime.
So for his own personal safety he has to huff it everywhere he goes. In his case, haste does not make waste! Just the opposite. Where is he going? Does it matter? Getting there alive is the objective. And he’s packing!

If you see it walking out of the surf, itâs evolving.

Dr. Hambone, Lizzo would be waddling slowly to the buffet line. And like Mr. Creosote the waiters would be mumbling to themselves, “Oh shit, here comes Lizzo.”

…a large aquarium near us used to have octopi. They were in a tank that was in the same room with large crabs, separated by several tanks near a corner with the crab tank down one wall from the corner and the octopus tank on the other wall down from the corner.
Thing was, tho, that the octopi could SEE the crabs.
…the aquarium started noticing their crabs were disappearing, but couldnt figure out HOW. So they put a camera above the open-top tanks expecting to catch a two legged theif, but it turned out an EIGHT legged one was scuttling across the tops of the tanks at night, scoring him some Crab Rangoon, then returning to his lair with no one the wiser until they got it on camera.
