Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he’s looking into whether gender transitioning drugs possibly taken by a transgender suspect could have led to the mass shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic church.

The horrific shooting took the lives of two children aged 8 and 10 years old and injured 17 others, including 14 children. Authorities have revealed that Robin Westman, who took his life after the shooting, was transgender and left extremist messages on social media.

When RFK Jr. was asked about the possibility of the drugs having side effects that led to the terrible violence, he said that was being investigated.

“We are doing those kind of studies now,” he answered during an interview with Fox & Friends Thursday. MORE

  5. I’m unwilling to 100% vilify the mentally ill murderer or his parents. This has become a national crisis, and we’re not even close to being out of the woods. Focusing the problem on so-called “transgender” protocols which, as a matter of course, usually include dangerous psycho meds, we have a crisis level social problem of young people reporting levels of anxiety and depression the likes we’ve never seen before, and the pharma companies are only too eager to cash in that, too. Now, whether this is the tail wagging the dog or not, remains to be seen. I know covid took its toll on everyone’s mental health, but I suspect pharma companies have been fanning the flames and offering a quick chemical fix.

    From my reading, it has never been proved that drugs actually treat any mental disorder. Media will never rat the drug companies. There’s not a minute of radio or tee vee that isn’t sponsored by them.

  6. …and good luck finding the real dangers or a full list of side effects associated with SSRIs. The FDA Black Box warnings only go as far as listing “suicidality” in people up to age 18.

    Yeah, but he’s part of a big club! As a Useful Idiot, put the emphasis on Idiot, but he’s one of them! The Left has been trying to destroy the next generation for decades and this is one of their most effective efforts yet! I have no doubt that drug are a big part of this recipe!

  11. @Woodman — Right you are. My point is that none of this happens in a vacuum. There are a lot of obvious factors that culminated in this horrific crime. I understand that those closest to the guy IGNORED their obvious share of them. The Left also wants to fix the blame on a single factor — guns. And another, “Trans-phobia”, which they care about as much about as “Black Lives” and Travon Martin.

    Which other drugs have parents been feeding their kids on a daily basis? One right at the top of my head is ADHD meds. There are untold numbers of kids — mostly boys — who have been on ADHD stuff since they started kindergarten, and their ignorant parents have never questioned if they should be re-evaluated and taken off the stuff, or if they ever really needed it in the first place. So much of what “science” is calling abnormality is simply a reflection of stressed and distracted parents and a stressed and distracted society using drugs on kids to cope with their own failings.

    I could go on. As everyone knows.
