Hulk Hogan’s Wife to File Medical Malpractice Suit over WWE Legend’s Death

Breitbart

Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, tells fans she is planning to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against the Hulkster’s doctors, who were treating him when he died.

The lawsuit is reportedly focused on the neck operation Hulk had in May, according to the Daily Mail.

Sky alleges that Hulk’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during the operation. The nerve helps control breathing.

“We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick,” she told the paper.

“It’s not something that’s an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak,” she explained. more

  1. So sad that we have to revert to lawsuits to get compensation in any malpractice suit. Having been permanently harmed by a lousy surgeon there is little recourse you can have for compensation.
You do not sue a doctor for malpractice, you sue a doctor based on your credentials vs the credentials of the doctor that harmed you.
If (and a BIG IF) you can show greater credentials than the doctor you are suing and if you can find a doctor willing to go up against the others credentials, you may have success. But you have to show intent or incompetence. So basically, the medical community protects their own whether you have a good doctor or a licensed quack.

  2. How do you go from doing killer work outs one week to dead the next? Big men are hard on hearts and die early. But it just didn’t seem like this guys time to me. I can’t remember who said it, but they were spot on. “The lefts pissed at Hogan because 71 he could have kicked their asses. All of them” I believe that to be true.

  3. Atheletes do have more issues with enlarged hearts and aneurisms, as you yourself note. First time I saw this in person was when we were called to a midnight bball game because a kid collapsed running down court so hard he rubbed the tip off his nose on the hardwood. This kid was all sleek and muscled, he looked WAY healthier than 27 yo me apart from the fact he was entirely dead.

You didnt think MI on 20ish pts most times in pre-Coof days, but this kid had no beat. We worked him, hospital worked him, all to no end, never even got a perhipheral pulse.

Long story short, on autopsy they found an aortic embolism popped, sending all his blood into his chest. We could have put all the fluids in the unit in him and pumped him from here to eternity and it meant jack as he no longer had a closed system. Docs said this kind of thing isnt unusual in athelete hearts because they put so much on them for so long.

Mrs Hulk had a private autopsy done tho, so I guess she’ll know the truth of it in a way us peasants cant get to. And whatever truth they find will come out in court sooner or later.

But when the Lord wants you Home, home you go. Jacob once wrestled the Lord to a standstill, maybe He wanted a rematch with another worthy opponent…

“24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Your spot on. But there’s that steroid thing. I use to lift with an ex NFL dude and his son. Defensive line backer for the Charger. The man has his own zip code. The wife and I ran into him a couple weeks ago. He barely recognized the new lean Bad Brad. The dudes 60 and freaking huge. Two years ago he lost his wife to Esophageal cancer in a matter of weeks. I told him my ordeal. e both teared up a bit. Fucking cancer. He’s taking every steroid known to man kind. Want’s to go out HUGE. A strange suicide when it comes right down to it. If I were in his position I can’t say I’d do anything different.
