OK guys, I’ll say it. A few short months ago everyone here was demanding exactly what these protesters are demanding. But now Trump tells you to look away and, not only do you all comply, but you debase and poke fun of people who are staying the course.
The files need to be released, not to damage Trump, but so we can get to the bottom of who’s pulling the strings of our government. That’s why Biden didn’t release them, BOTH Dems and Republicans are scared of what will be revealed. And nobody seems to care that there are legitimate victims. This is so disapointing.
There were trials and payoffs.
The people (true victims) paid aren’t talking.
If there was a list, the left would have already brought it out. Even if it had to be redacted to protect their friends.
These people at the presser have already said now that they won’t release their own lists. But massie and mtg will. In congress.

Sorry MJA, but this goes beyond paying off victims. This was a massive pedophile ring and those involved deserve prison, and not just Maxwell and Epstein.
But, like I said, this goes deeper. The coverup is always darker than crime. And it exposes real dark power behind our government. It needs to be exposed.

But I also keep hearing people (other than government peeps) saying they have the/a list, a black book, etc. Yet, it never appears.
President Trump needs the votes of Republicans that are going down with the files release. It’s a numbers game.

If the victims don’t want to, or refuse to point out the creeps’ names to save other victims, who is going to force them?

All the more reason to release everything, unredacted. This is what we’ve wanted for years. Trump is putting up a straw-man argument that this is all about attacking him, it’s not. Well maybe for some, but they go after him for everything and we can see through it. This should not be a litmus test for who is loyal and who is not.
Release the indictments or STFU.
And what if the redactions in the court filings and statements (which the lefty judges won’t allow to be released) are mostly the victims’ names and how they got assaulted? Do the victims get a say about redactions? What if there’s a clause saying if victim 1 says anything about offender 4, the money has to be returned to the offender?
As far as we know, these things were settled in cash, for silence, and not by jail time.
None of this is going to come out 100% the way people want.

I read somewhere that the victims are threatening to release their own list, and they will name names. But I’m sure if that is true then the lawfare and smear brigades are already marshaled agains them. We will see what comes of this. Release of names opens the releaser to defamation charges and possible extortion charges, and those named to threats and harassment.
MJA, I figured they would back down. MeToo is only for the privileged few, and this was gently explained to the accusers, I’m sure.
James woke me up long ago so that I didn’t follow my husband and vote O. I noticed the media then too, but without having had Republican parents not sure I could have ever wised up. It’s hard for generational Dems to ever question NYT or WaPo, I know some who pay for their own indoctrination with those very publications and the more secluded they are the more hateful they become sad to say. So I agree, let’s get it out in the open, but just out of curiosity, how will you ever know that “everything” has been released? You won’t. Things like this take on a life of their own and pretty soon you start hearing “This Is The Song That Never Ends” in the background because people always keep the rumor mill running. I don’t know how you ever get closure on something like this.
Two thoughts on this:
1. If POTUS Trump figured nefariously in “the list”, the Left would have released it years ago. The FBI under oblowme and biden probably even contemplated fabricating a phony list, but it would have looked overly suspicious with only conservative/MAGA names on it.
2. The clamor to “release the list!” by the Left is merely virtue signaling. As MJA states, any luminaries on the Left and Right, who may have been on the list, are now protected by sealed settlements with the victims — who also are probably gagged under threat of heavy litigation/fines/incarceration.
If this was the only scandal/problem facing our country right now then, yes, by all means, let’s spend all the resources of our justice agencies getting to the bottom of it — no matter what. As a purely practical matter, however, there are some 300,000 children who are still children as I write, who are out there, somewhere, still waking up this very morning, September 4, 2025, many of whom have gone to “work”, doing God knows what kinds of unspeakable things. I say let’s focus on those we can rescue with our tax-paid dollars.
