A police department in Michigan has introduced a uniform patch that has Arabic writing on it, prompting fierce backlash.
Dearborn Heights Police Department is believed to be the first in the country to have a patch with a language other than English.
Reports indicate that the patch was designed by an Officer Ermily Murdoc, who claims to have created it to “reflect and honor the diversity of our community – especially the many residents of Arabic descent who call Dearborn Heights home.” more

That scripture is specifically for the nation of Israel. It was part of the law that God gave to Moses while he spent 40 days on the mountain (when God gave him the Ten Commandments).
Deuteronomy 28 was all about the blessings if they obeyed God (vs 1-14) and the curses of they didn’t obey God (vs 15-68).
I can see how it could apply to us today, but that scripture was only meant for Israel.
