In a significant victory for fiscal conservatives and animal welfare advocates, the House Appropriations Committee has unanimously passed an amendment to the FY26 NIH spending bill that would prohibit the use of taxpayer dollars for bizarre and controversial “transgender” experiments on animals.
The amendment, which was added to the spending bill, states explicitly:
“Sec. ___. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used for research on vertebrate animals for the purpose of studying the effects of drugs, surgery, or other interventions to alter the human body (including by disrupting the body’s development, inhibiting its natural functions, or modifying its appearance) to no longer correspond to its biological sex.”
The amendment was first proposed by Rep. Paul Gosar in May, who was working with White Coat Waste Project, a watchdog group focused on ending wasteful taxpayer-funded animal experimentation. more
If they want to continue experimenting on woke Hollywood blowhards, poly sci college professors, European intellectuals, or anybody at all who wears a keffiyeh, that would be OK by me. Just don’t release any of these lab animals back into the wild when you’re done with them.
I am putting a preliminary to ALL Congressional actions. Because I am a judge, and I am right.
A preliminary stop, that is.
I would dare to posit that this transgender thing escaped from a lab years ago and has infected the world.
So happy that they’re ending the Mengele experiments of innocent animals.
This reminds me of the plot for the novel – The Island of Dr. Moreau only he was turning humans into animals, or was it the other way around?

“So happy that they’re ending the Mengele experiments of innocent animals.”
But they continue on humans.
So I’m driving through a democrat big city hellhole looking at all the transgender animals walking around like zombies.

Gee congress took a teeny tiny step to fix something. Give’em a big pat on the back.
Truly, THIS is a Lyndon Johnson “sick society.” One of them, at least.
I’m glad they’re stopping the experiments. I don’t want some female dog humping my leg.
^^^ Nor do I want a male dog humping ity either. I need to make that clear as well.
