This should work out fine.

Ohio is stepping up its game with a new app that lets people report suspicious activities using artificial intelligence. The move comes after the tragic assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk and the earlier killing of a Minnesota lawmaker. Launched on Friday, the Safeguard Ohio app is the first of its kind in the nation to bring AI into the criminal justice tip-reporting arena.
Governor Mike DeWine emphasized how crucial timely tips are in keeping Ohioans safe. He mentioned that the app makes it easier for the public to send information to law enforcement. Developed by Ohio Homeland Security in collaboration with Vigiliti, the app allows users to stay anonymous while uploading video, audio, and photos. more
The surveillance state grows daily.
Hopefully, all the tips will be about Mike DeWine.
Hmmmmmmm… just add some more icons to the Waze/Google Android app:
Police
Accident
Construction
Drug activity
Human trafficking
School Threat
Leftist Riot
“…the app allows users to stay anonymous while uploading video, audio, and photos.”
– all of which can also be generated by AI.
Oh, terrific.
Harry, a few more icons for various alarms…
Out of beer
Columbus stinking
Garbage overflow
People gone nuts
Escape from Cincinnati
Buckeyes lose! (Oh, God!)
Ice flow alert
Lake effect snow death
Ohio accent twang
GM – the icon of a chalk outline should be popular in Cinci and Cleveburg…
I’m from Ohio. This sounds like North Korea to me. The Karens will feel emboldened.
RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA. Wasn’t that all artificial intelligence?
“…the app allows users to stay anonymous…”
Sure it does!
Reporting to a flawed, barely “sentient” AI. What could go wrong?
“Sure it does!”
Back in the day I owned a commercial building that housed my shop and I owned the vacant lot next to it. Long story short I had this pain in the ass employee that I fired. He was bragging to the other employees on the way out that he’d fix my ass. A week later the EPA shows up and says they have a whistle blower claiming we were dumping chemical on the lot. I told the bull shit, this is a disgruntled x employee. No good. We spent 5K for an independent firm to come in and take soil samples every 10 square feet of the 1 acre parcel. Naturally the samples come back clean as Kleenex. So on the EPA’s return I demanded a signed affidavit that this clown filed a false report. “Oh no. We need to protect whistle blowers”. I told them at this point he is not a whistle blower, he’s an extortionist. No good. Funny thing is the idiot had us down for past employment. I’d occasionally get a call for a reference. I think he finally had to move because the word was out.
