Disney Says ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Coming Back Tuesday Night

Breitbart: Disney and ABC have caved to the pressure from boycotts and left-wing backlash and announced Monday that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be returning to the air on Tuesday night.

Disney announced on Monday that Kimmel’s suspension has been lifted.

“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” Disney said in a statement. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.” more

  1. I believe I had this.

Leftists are nothing if not predictable. It’s not about money (or the loss of it) or profits, it’s not about growing the company or even placating the shareholders, it’s about ideology, the message, and as mentioned before, the petulant children (the employees) run the show.

  2. JK was amusing as Ben Stein’s idiot sidekick. Then I saw a little bit of an episode of The Man Show (not my house, not my teevee). He was painful to watch and made my skin crawl.

  3. I know that in the past, BFH insisted that people be culturally aware. But I need to balance this with my need to not waste any more time than I already do.

I’ve seen Kimmel’s show and I know who and what Jimmy Kimmel is. Fallon could be entertaining on occasion, but Colbert and Kimmel were insufferable and I ceased watching any late night talk shows long ago. Kimmel will get his echo chamber audience back, but he alienated half of America so Disney will likely continue to lose millions on his show. And since I normally don’t bother watching remakes and overtly woke programs, I don’t consume Disney media either.

Vote with your time and money – that’s usually pretty effective.

  4. This unfunny punk makes 18 million a year for this shit show. He also hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Pretty good for somebody who used to co-host a show where one of his segments was Guess What’s In My Pants.

  5. They’re bringing him back to lose more money… cuz it feels so good.
They found out a long time ago that there is a LOT of money in propaganda. Any money lost is simply the cost of doing the business of pushing the Leftist agenda.

  6. My take on it is this whole thing was done as a scripted publicity stunt rom the get go. It appears to be as animated as Portland Wrestling from the get go. Just him and Disney getting enough of the kooks back watching him to make a few bucks before it ends for good on its own.

That’s not a small victory. It’s rather substantial. Sinclair Broadcasting is the largest owner of ABC affiliates. Kimmel will not be on where I live and I live in NorCal. And mean while Disney loses more money and less market share in that time slot. Ironically the left is bragging about how successful their threatened boycott was. Just wait until they see ours.

  8. “Sinclair Broadcast Group is a major U.S. media company that owns or operates approximately 185 television stations across 85 markets, reaching about 70% of the U.S. population through over-the-air broadcasting and other platforms. ”

So now Disney and Kimmel have 70 percent less market share. And they were already losing a ton of money.

  9. Heck, that didn’t take too much thuoght. Throwing who exactly under the bus? False promises only go so far & threats are only eaten up at breakfast, have another Big Mac loser boy.

  10. Kimmel’s new show will be TDS Central. Jimmy will open with a monologue rant against Trump. Then every guest will rant against Trump for 3 minutes before joining Jimmy to rant against Trump until the commercial break.

  11. Kimmel will feel vindicated and continue to be an insufferable, hate mongering leftist tool. He will continue to the role to promote leftist propaganda without being deterred. The suspension of his show was an insincere, empty gesture to appease right-leaning viewers and the Trump Administration and it didn’t work. The best thing would have been cancelling that rotten show. It should still be a possibility.

  12. Yeah, whatever. I really don’t care. I’ve never seen his show, and I don’t plan on starting tonight. Give him a little rope and maybe he will hang himself. I don’t expect the asshole to last much longer. The way I hear it, he has shit for ratings.
