I wish the nation’s police force would adapt the same rules that Pete Hegseth just did when it comes to women in combat. NO MORE DOUBLE STANDARDS! If they can’t pass the same tests the men have to, they can’t be in combat! Same goes for wimpy men.
I’ve seen videos where the female cop almost gets her male partner killed because she couldn’t do the job she needed to do to help him. Unforgivable.
I suppose other first responders like fire fighters need to do the same if they currently don’t.

Then you might be able to do good cop bad cop routine all the time. Woman makes first contact with a problem citizen … trying to resolve the situation peaceable. If male perp gets belligerent, bring in bad cop to apply the muscle. Then good female cop says “You wanna try being cooperative now?”
