About 27 years ago a coworker took a woman he was dating out to the CA desert in his off-road truck. He rolled it. Yeah, they are still married. 🙂

Can we please hold the parents partly responsible? What were these kids doing out at that hour? Where did they get the alcohol? Where did they learn to boost a car?

I’m with SNS, my friends and I did a lot of stupid stuff with drinking to excess when I was younger and sometimes, I wonder why I am still here after being a dumbass. I never drove drunk or stoned though and it’s only because of God’s grace that I survived.
Which is the bigger dumbbell the guy with a dumbbell inside of him or the dumbbell itself.

One of the most important jobs as a parent is to try to keep the body alive from age 13 until their brains return at about 25.
Hopefully both boys are damaged (just) enough to prevent any further pollution of the gene pool, that they don’t pass their stoopid genes on to a next generation.
These kids have absolutely no fear of law enforcement. They know they’ll just be turned over to they mama, or grandmama if mama in jail. The highest rate of crime is from ages 12-17.

…I was probably 27 or so before I slowed my idiot ways, mostly because it took me that long to find the good woman Im still with today…

Yes, I get that – I am glad you were and are so blessed. I was quite lucky with my son. He did stupid things, but not dangerous things (that I know of, yet). He’s now 47.
