  3. Is Derek related to Vince? I am embarrassed to say don’t know. I’m a native Georgian, and I went to UGA when Vince won the National Championship.

    But Mike Collins looks alright to me. A damn sight better than Pencil-Neck Paideia Ossoff.

  4. Derek is the son of Vince Dooley. Vince talked about running for the Senate as a democrat in the 1980’s but decided to stick with football since he was the head coach. Vince also talked about running for governor as a republican in the 90’s but couldn’t get enough support.

    His wife also ran for the House as a republican but didn’t win. Seems to me that the family has some deep-seated desire for political power which makes me trust them even less.

    Mike Collins has been a pretty good representative (strong conservative for the most part) for the district I live in, so I personally like him better than anyone else in the race at this point.

  5. Can’t blame the Dooleys for wanting to get into politics. That’s where the really big money is. You don’t even need any talent. AOC went from a flat broke bartender to amassing over 30 million in less than 6 years.

  8. Dooley’s a carpetbagger, so no better than Hillary. I was rather surprised Kemp endorsed him.

    Collins is reasonably solid and a far cry better than Ossoff.

    And that’s obviously a fake video.
