(Patriot TV)—Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, a heavyweight in Democratic fundraising circles, has broken ranks with his party by backing President Donald Trump’s push to deploy the National Guard in San Francisco amid soaring crime and disorder. I get why Trump is sending Federal troops to blue-run cities, his need to help the people, even those who did not vote for him. But it rankles me that he is not letting them stew in their own juices.
If representative government means anything, it is this: elections have consequences. When you elect a rabid leftist into office, you know (or should if you are paying attention) exactly what you are getting. When the people vote Democrat, the city turns to shit and no one is safe, then you bail them out with federal troops, what lesson have they learned?

At Xmas time we use to spend a weekend at the Fairmont shopping at Nordstroms, Macys Anchor stores. All of that’s gone. SF is gone. And Benioff helped kill it.

We might have seen each other and not known it. For about 10 years in a row the wife and I would see The Nutcracker at the War Memorial Opera House, Dinner first, then the ballet, ending up at the Fairmont. This was in the 1990s.

I live in the Streeterville neighborhood in Chicago. Don’t go to the loop anymore — too many muggings. The loop business district has so many nearly vacant office buildings they considered making “affordable” housing in them. That’ll work. North Michigan Ave has at least 30% vacancy (or more) starting during covid. Water Tower Place mall, 2 blocks from my high end co-op is nearly vacant. It’s only a matter of time before the thugs make way to our hood. After all, that’s where the money is. Brandon Johnson, 5% approval does nothing. J.B. Short-Ribs walked the lakefront path with the morning joggers. I would dare him to go back there after dark or to Oak Street beach on a hot summer day. Out Northwest about fifty miles and note that the “thugs” who have viable transportation are coming out here for victims as they’re running out them in the city. If you live close to expressways / highways so they can hop back on them to escape your jeopardy goes up.
