1. I think the pup is “enjoying” it the same way we “enjoy” a visit to the dental hygienist. It isn’t something we enjoy per se, but we enjoy having it done and over with.

7. Years ago my brother did that to our sister’s Pekinese, except for around the head. It was summer and the dog was suffering from the heat and thick fur.
   When he finished it looked like a miniature lion.

8. Cynic – I have this large stainless bowl that I often cook with. But I’m also known to soak my feet in it with warm water and epsom salts. Then I wash it out like it didn’t happen and cook with it again. Is that gross? Asking for a friend. 🤣

   (Stainless is so easy to clean and sterilize.)

    I was thinking the same. If this was done during the summer, the dog probably enjoys running around without a fur coat.

12. Looks like my wife’s Pom when she’s brushing his teeth. It doesn’t hurt that the toothpaste is meat flavored. Looks like Underwood deviled ham. ecchh…and his breath still stinks.

14. About 20 years ago my wife’s sister asked if we could watch their Belgian Shepherd for a few days while they went out of town. That dog was all black, and his fur was thick. That darn dog was upset that he was left at our house and he didn’t know us, since he had no idea where he was we had to keep him in the house tied in between a couple trees. It was hotter than hell those several days and he would lay in the sun instead of shade. He looked so hot I couldn’t stand it, so I figured he need a hair cut. Did anyone know that a black Belgian Shepherd has a white undercoat? My wife’s sister came to pick him up and almost started crying. At least they never asked us to take care of their dog again.
