The Washington Post ran a piece that you probably would never expect them to write, much less to be written by the WaPo’s editorial board: a defense of President Donald Trump’s ballroom.
The Democrats have been losing their minds publicly over it. But the WaPo revealed the reality.
Privately, many alumni of the Biden and Obama White Houses acknowledge the long-overdue need for an event space like what Trump is creating. It is absurd that tents need to be erected on the South Lawn for state dinners, and VIPs are forced to use porta-potties.
Whoops. But of course they are, because having the space is common sense, and sending foreign dignitaries out to use the porta-potties is embarrassing. Not to mention how much we were paying to keep putting up temporary tents and everything that goes along with that for events.
I think that rather than actually being in favor of President Trump’s ballroom, the WaPo editorial flacks are simply trying to head off the nationwide derisive laughter at comments from the likes of Stinky Swalwell. In other words, they’re trying to keep the Dem reactions limited to ‘insane’ and not all the way to ‘stupid insane.’
Perhaps the press pool at the white house should get new offices in tents with porta-potties for them to use. It might change the way they slant the garbage they write. With a few exceptions of course.
If I had to characterize it, democRATz must have Republican Envy.
It comes as no big surprise that democRATz don’t ever complain about not having enough ballroom…
@Uncle Al
Quite true, not to mention that all the fancy-pants US journos, deep-staters and Democrat pols will get to swank around in the new ballroom and no longer have to endure snide comments from their Eurotrash counterparts about tents and porta-potties.
IF HE NAMES IT THE BIG MIKE BALLROOM, JUST IMAGINE THE FUN
I just looked it up & the East Wing was built in 1902 and expanded in 1942. Nothing about any majotlr remodeling since. So, yeah, I think it’s time for a MODERN upgrade to the social center of the White House. 😮
Melania probably put her foot down this term & told him to fix it! I would.
Mean while Eric Swallowswells demands that a prerequisite for running for President on the bat shit crazy ticket is you promise to tear the ball room down as soon as you’re elected.
There’s some ANTIFA types on TicToc threatening to feed little kids fentanyl laced candy during Halloween. I would not let my kids or grand kids wear anything political this year. These people need to be eliminated from society. I’d suggest doxing them so we can take care of them.

USA absolutely needs a ballroom. We put dignitaries in makeshift tents outside the White House for formal occasions
Meanwhile, Russia has a grand ballroom in the winter palace in St Petersburg so large you could lose the entire White House inside it
All of these Democrat dipwhips like Swalwell need to be asked to make a public pledge to never set foot inside the ballroom.

DJT should declare breathing mandatory, the libs would hold their breath.
Meanwhile, the leftard media has selective memory when it comes to Obama’s “destruction” of the White House with taxpayer money;
