A Cleveland, Ohio woman with a rap sheet stabbed a woman and her toddler in a grocery store parking lot in June 2024.
The 38-year-old mother survived but her 3-year-old son died from his injuries.

I’ve said it for decades. The US govt should offer anyone of African decent a check for $100,000.00 and a paid for one-way airline ticket to the African nation of their choice with a US citizenship renunciation included. After the stupid ones (most of them) take the bait then keep raising the payoff until all the stupid, poor heathens are gone. Right round the corner from us. We generally don’t see this kind of stuff happening here and came as quite a shock when this happened. No one is immune from it! Pointless and heartless. I glad that Thing is off the streets, at least we have that goiing for us, but the family will have a hole in their hearts forever. And that’s why there should be Forever sentences in cases like this! Gas, Sparky, needle… I don’t care. Heartless murder, heartless fate for the perp!
Why do we have sentences of “life without parole”. That’s basically a statement that the person is useless and dangerous to society and can never be redeemed. Let them go through their appeals, and then shoot them. I don’t care whether they have mental issues or not (in fact, for me that only strengthens the argument to dispose of them.)
As far as my sympathy for the extremely extremely extremely extremely unlikely and rare mistake of an otherwise totally innocent person with no prior rap sheet of any other felonies, well… stuff happens. People get killed from medical mistakes much more frequently and we don’t ban surgery because of that. And see how many innocent young people die just in military trainings before they’re ever even deployed into combat.
By the way, I used the wording “totally innocent person with no prior rap sheet of any other felonies” deliberately, because “legally not guilty” doesn’t necessarily correlate with “didn’t kill him” or ” law-abiding citizen”.

I am 73 years old and have arrived at the knowledge to keep my distance from blacks, muslims and Canadian natives (I live in western Canada) Television dramas like to show good black people, good muslims, but in my humble experience, the good ones are few and far between. I seem to remember a case where a California doctor torture killed his wife. The sentence he got was for life AND any hearing to grant parole would require the jury to be called back in. After some time somebody got to checking, and said doctor had been given a secret parole and was living in another country.
The Podunk Illinois town I live in doesn’t have that kind of problem. The Democrats have driven all but one business out of existence. Periodically we get one or two of them in town but they don’t last because there is nothing for them to steal. They don’t last in school either because our local school tests for grade placement, most are set back at least one or two grades.
