  1. Been looking for fulfillment and joy in places nobody has ever found it ever. Now that he’s come looking in the right direction the same brand of opportunists, operating under a different banner, will be looking to find exploit him in furtherance of advancing their own agenda. He might want to check out Dr Robert Spitzer SJ and his books and videos on the four levels of happiness as a good place to start.

This punk is a nitwit that bought into the lie lock, stock and barrel. If he is sincerely interested he needs to make a complete break and start anew and be vigilant regarding the quality of people he is getting spiritually advice from.

By the age of six I recognized even before I had any knowledge of the four different kinds of love that there existed various kinds of love and that the left was doing it’s level best to conflate and confuse them. It was so obvious and I knew instinctively that they were doing so for a nefarious purpose. I didn’t know what their purpose was, but I knew they were up to no good. Thirty years later we see blooming idiots running around with T-shirts and bumper stickers proclaiming that love is love and patting themselves on the back for being among the erudite who have a higher level of understanding than the poor benighted slobs they look down on who don’t go along with the current thing. Actually what they were boldly announcing is that they are shallow thinkers at best and more likely non thinkers who are so desperate for acceptance that they don’t know and don’t care so long as they get tossed a cookie or get a pat on the head and told how smart they are for going along to get along.

This guy is a sucker for that and we shall see if he can navigate his way through it without attaching himself to some charlatan or Mountebank that strokes his ego and promises him the world. Once bitten twice shy would be good advice, will he take it. Who knows? As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly and he has proven time and again to be a fool’s fool.

    I hope not.

  2. He may be dealing with some mental issues. The scripture reference speaks for itself, but the context and reason for his posting is not clear. At least he’s trying to connected with Christ.

  3. He definitely could use a good pastoral counselor. One who is not afraid to remind him that God loves the sinner, not the sin, and that God requires a sinner to confess, repent the sin and sin no more.

Sadly “today’s contemporary counselor” helps you know your sin, embrace it, and in fact glorify it. sounds like the devil to me.
