(…) a reminder that government loves your conspiracy theories, cuz it distracts from the fact that plain old govt incompetence is the biggest threat to your life.

  1. “Public Servants” lol There are two reasons for government employees:

    (1) To hand our money to people for not having jobs.

    (2) To hand our money to themselves for not doing their jobs.

  2. The only thing worse than having a corrupt, bloated, wasteful, inefficient government is having to pay for it.

Putting a red hat on a bureaucrat does not make him honest. Yes, I’m glad the Trump agenda is being implemented, but it is undeniable that the government leviathan can not be trusted and is staffed primarily by people who are lazy and dishonest.

When they de-funded the police they didn’t reduce the taxes.
I keep asking where did the money go???
That question is like Kryptonite to the Bought & Paid For, Knee-Pad Media!

  4. It’s not incompetence.
    It’s deliberate, intentional, and malicious.

  5. It’s deliberate, intentional, and malicious action disguised as incompetence! They always hide behind and facade!
Jackass Joe was just a cardboard cutout that the Communists hid behind.

  6. Don’t discount the incompetence, there is plenty of it. However deliberate, intentional, and malicious action disguised as incompetence is absolutely the factor, it’s probably about two to one (and growing) in favor of the latter.

I worked in City government in City Hall. If you go out to the City shops, there is some incompetence, but an honest assessment from anyone competent to observe and come to a valid conclusion would clearly identify having their budgets raided, the money siphoned off and diverted to fund woke bullshit is the primary factor behind what a lot of what looks like incompetence stems from.

  7. Uhm… If “the government” disappeared, then there would be no sirens, public water systems, or, necessarily, power lines to begin with.

My understanding is that when Ben Franklin invented the first “fire department”, it was private, and if you weren’t a paid subscriber with a sign to that effect on your premises, the fire department wouldn’t come put out your fire, or would just pass you by.

A problem cannot be fixed until it is first identified.

We need to not anthropomorphize. “The government” isn’t a person. To the extent there are reasons incentivizing the population of government with too many incompetent, corrupt, and/or lazy government officials and government employees, those underlying reasons need to be addressed. (E.g. sloppy voting laws, DEI hiring, inability to quickly terminate bad employees…)
