Harry. you could’ve been a speech writer for Spiro Agnew whose most infamous quote was that; “Democrats are a bunch of nattering nabobs of negativism.” Assuming that you even liked Spiro Agnew the corrupt VP and former crook governor of Maryland. When Spiro visited Spokane once in the late 60’s he gave a speech in the Parkade Plaza downtown and an acquaintance that I knew in HS egged Spiro from above where all the cars were parked, fortunately he didn’t get caught.
