The Republicans need to get totally behind Trump and pass a law for him to sign that would not only sever their paychecks starting from the first minute of a shutdown and be able to use that money to fund / partially fund critical areas that need to be functional even during a shutdown. The Politicians would also not be allowed to grab that money as back pay. Any future shutdowns would end before they even really started. You know the Leftists would not even give up one minute of their paycheck let alone multiple days and weeks.
