SINGAPORE plans to unleash at least six brutal strokes of the cane on convicted online scammers, a minister told lawmakers on Tuesday.
A shocking video shows how offenders will be tied down and forced to writhe in agony as someone ferciously whips their backside.
This mandatory punishment could go up to 24 strokes in extreme cases.
This penalty is usually reserved for more serious offences, including rape, drug trafficking and illegal moneylending. more

I watched the video and the guy getting the whip was hit on the butt Which was paded he didn’t flinch, move or cry.
They should also try upside their hades for a little change of pace.
It may be better to remove the fingers and toes on these crooks so they can no longer actively use a keyboard for anything they actually need to do. If they do get caught again, remove their tongue so they can not use “Speak and Type” either.

I have some email addresses from spammers they can have. They’re from around that area too.
I used to save up my money and replace my hand plated bull whip at the prison store in Deer Lodge on our annual summer trip to Montana. That was in the later 1960s and early 1970s. Discipline had gone plumb out of the schools and I never did care much for tattletales anyway. Fr Flanigan be damned, there is such a thing as a bad kid and no amount of social worker nonsense is going to keep them on the straight and narrow. Besides, what needed to be done was evident and overdue anyway.
Speaking from experience, repeat offenders and smart mouthing wasn’t anything you had to worry about.
The damnable school principal didn’t like being showed up by a kid and would confiscate my bull whip, but not until after I had restored respect for law and order.
Those days are remembered fondly by other students at high school reunions. When I was married my wife was expressing horror upon hearing of my bull whipping. My class mates told her that it wasn’t like I had just gone around indiscriminately bull whipping innocents, that they hadn’t any knowledge of anyone getting an undeserved ass whipping.

I’ve been proposing this solution for all the world’s criminals for a long time: physical pain. It is the only cure for what ails Congress, for one example.
