8. RIP Uncle Scotty – He served in both Europe and Pacific theaters during WWII. Purple heart after taking a bayonet in the back while storming a Pacific Island beach.
   He owned a fully auto M16 and would sometimes shoot it in full auto mode to chase tin cans across the frozen Potomac river in WV back in the 70’s.
