William Fitzpatrick is not a “federal judge.” He is a “magistrate.” That is not an Article III position. He was nominated by no president, confirmed by no Senate. He’s a puffed-up helper, appointed by judges to handle housekeeping chores. He isn’t even allowed to preside over felony trials. What’s worse, but goes unmentioned, is that Fitzpatrick is a quarter-century Deep State DOJ veteran.
His tenure overlapped with James Comey himself, the very person whose crimes he is now purporting to oversee. Most recently, he worked in the totally corrupt U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, which, among countless abuses, spent eight years pushing fraudulent Mueller charges, until Lindsey Halligan brought that to a halt. Never mind his overlap with Comey. The mere fact that Fitzpatrick is deeply entangled with the same office Halligan is trying to clean up should have been reason enough to make sure he has nothing to do with this case. What a total scam.
