RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Purrfect Bean, a Richmond cat café, has temporarily closed due to flooding caused by a “series of freak accidents” involving a cat named Roller.
The Purrfect Bean is a cat café that opened in August at 214 N. Lombardy St. in Richmond’s Fan District. The space was formerly home to Westray’s Finest Ice Cream.
According to social media posts by The Purrfect Bean on Tuesday, Dec. 2, major flooding at the cat café has caused a temporary closure of the business.
The cat café said the flooding was caused by a “series of freak accidents” involving a cat named Roller, a towel and a sink. Flooding in the cat lounge upstairs reportedly leaked into the café space downstairs. more
Human cleaning up the mess: “Why… you… little… BASTARD!”
Cat: (purr…) (lick…) (indifference…) (snooze…)
“Cat café”
Kung Pow Meow? Tastes just like chicken.
Now maybe management will give in to Roller’s demand of 5% of the gross.
Roller the Cat: I almost got out of here a free cat. I must figure out a better way.
The real reason it closed was due to the Pussy Parlor opening next door…
