American Thinker: With the snows melting in icy North Dakota, the mounds of frozen garbage left by far-left Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) protesters are finally being cleared. What should the police find in all those acres of debris? A dead body, not surprisingly, nestled among all the garbage-barge-like flotsam and jetsam such Occupy-inspired campout protests always leave in their wake.
The body was of a California man who hung out at protests as an “activist” and who had been reported missing by his stepbrother last October. It was found in the Cannonball River, where it had been left among all the detritus of the protesters, apparently none of them particularly caring, yet all full of self-righteous virtuousness about saving the earth as their demonstration spun into chaos. That’s right: they left a fellow protester’s dead body behind in a river but piously lectured the people of the North Dakota about the horrors of the Dakota Access Pipeline polluting some lake. read more
Nothing I saw in the story could lead anybody to conclude that there were any witnesses to the death. So, who’s to blame? For what. Nothing to see here.
Keep searching, let the snow melt some more. There will be more bodies.
Just a reminder: when you hang out with a large throng of stoned hippies, you’re on your own.
We should know what’s coming next… “OMG!… He was murdered by Trumpsters!!!…”
Who’s to blame? Who cares. Another Lib that can’t vote. I bet his wallet was missing. And his watch, and any jewelry.
Hope I didn’t offend anybody with my bluntness since we’ve turned all PC.
I know we tend to think, politically, in terms of “us” versus “them”, regardless, ours is turning into a really mean country. What are we going to do about that? I’m quite serious. What is it going to take, if it can be done, to return to a point when we are honestly shocked by this stuff?
A good start.
AA,
Speaken for myself, I have no desire for civility after the last 9 years. Maybe longer. I’m tired of feeling like my backs against the wall. Key words, Father, Attorney, they’re Libtards and the kid uttered something by mistake. Having said that I hope that dad takes everything they have.
I would think the deposits on the quart beer bottle would off set the clean up costs.
Garbage in/garbage out, and with no “redemption value.”
Well, it’s not my body….and I feel good about that.
BB — I get it. I do. But I’m talking about the general acceptability, now, of things that assault the senses on a level I’ve never seen before. You name it, it’s being done here. What kind of a country do we want? S’all I’m asking.
There used to be societal “norms”,
…past which people would not go. There used to be a red line around a certain standard of decency. A silly example, maybe, but even the bums used to wear suits and no decent person even swore or spit on the sidewalk. How do we (if we can) return to a society of decent people?
AA, you start by having the population accept the concept of personal responsibility. I’m thinking we are a long ways from that.
AA, these are the same type of people that have the Muzzies over running Europe. Suicidal Genocide, I don’t get it. And the motive is no longer important.
Besides the body, don’t forget the 24,000 tons of trash that had to be removed at a cost of $1 million. The groups who organized the protest should be sued for the cost of cleanup, and criminally charged for illegal dumping. Oh, and negligent homicide for the dead guy.
Someone threw out a perfectly good protester.
A protesting moron died. How tragic.
The people who run the morgue in Chicago would probably be amused at the shock expressed over this.
Oddly, he voted for shrillary in the November election.
That’s called manure. Till it in.
Dumbass from California thought global warming was real.
He was just ‘grassing’.
How inconsiderate not to recycle.
Perhaps he was in the process of becoming one with the environment.
The Eloi don’t get involved when they see someone drowning in a river.
Devolution.
I pondered this for a while. I tried, but I really can’t give a shit.
