A Coronavirus Quarantine Diary

Day 10 – Struck up a conversation with a Spider today. Seems nice. He’s a Web Designer.

  1. “Day 14 – Watched the birds fight over a worm. The Cardinals led the Blue Jays 3–1.”

Well that’s about where I’m at myself and I have the pics to send to Claudia to prove it!! :>)

For the record though? The blue jays kick everyones ass…size always dominates in nature.

Oh, and a white crowned sparrow hit the kitchen door window two daze ago, was quite stunned, but landed on its feet, sat there for a bit and then hopped off.

  2. I don’t stay indoors, I pretty much go wherever I want….when I want and visit who(m) ever I want.

I also live on 2.5 acres near a very small town.

The powers that be can stick it!

  3. Person in store: “How are you doing in the crisis?”

Jimmy: “I’m good. I’m a “Don’t get it, don’t give it!” type of guy.”

Person in store: “You mean Coronavirus?”

Jimmy: “No. I don’t get why we’re destroying the economy. And I don’t give a flying fuck what the country does next. It’s off it’s rocker.”

    Person in store: “Oh!”

  4. Replaced the grease in my neighbors food mixer, chipped the paint cracking it open, going out for touch up white paint, don’t want her to find out. That will be the highlight of the day aside from the snow flakes, yes real snow flakes coming down, must be a dozen or two. I’ll try counting them so I don’t develop stage 3 boredom, I know I’m close to it…aggrrrr Where’s my VA crisis hotline phone number dog tag….?? I think I left by the gun cabinet again.

Ann Coulter is still the best. She’s disappointed in Trump, maybe she’ll turn around by November. I certainly don’t think she’d vote for Old Senile Pants.

I have a few good names for the corona19 virus.

  6. I was excited when we got a load of wood chips delivered on Monday and had to rake the pile flat for his next delivery. My sisters kept telling me to stop, but it’s just a little raking; I can do that. After about 1/2 hour, I realized that I need more time to regain my strength as I nearly fainted. I don’t bounce back like I did when I was younger. Darn.

  7. Day whatever, still working.

Roads were only half clear this week. Methinks the people are having enough of this nonsense.

More and more people are extending their hand and, genuinely, asking if you’re afraid of shaking hands.

I think some kind of mask/restrainer for incidental spittle and micro droplets that can hang in the air would be majorly effective against this invisible threat. Be aware of common, publicly touched things and wear your gloves or use something between your skin and the object. Like, with door handles, touch pads for your credit card use, shopping carts.

We can do these things and get back to work.

IMO, I can’t worry about the actual products I’m purchasing. If that were the case, then all the PPE wearing in public is for naught and it doesn’t matter what you do if you’re bringing it home anyway.

BTW paid $1.25 for gas yesterday. First time low prices don’t have any joy for me. It’s reflective of the misery inflicted on millions of us.
