PJMedia: Gavin Newsom may want to mask up for the news. The California governor was just dethroned by a Superior Court judge who reminded him on Monday that he’s not a king, but a servant of the people – people who elected a legislature to make laws.
Sutter County Superior Court Judge Sarah Heckman barred Newsom from making new coronavirus laws that use the “California Emergency Services Act [which] amends, alters, or changes existing statutory law or makes new statutory law or legislative policy.”
The decision Monday afternoon was a pointed reminder to Newsom that there’s such a thing as a legislature, whose job, after all, is to make laws. It forbade him from exercising, as my colleague over at RedState Jennifer Van Laar characterized, “one-man rule.”
That assessment was echoed by California State Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, who said, “the judge has ruled in our case against Gavin Newsom. We won. The Judge found good cause to issue a permanent injunction restraining the Governor from issuing further unconstitutional orders.” read more

Remember when SCOTUS ruled against the 0bama administration, over and over? And lower courts as well? Did 0bama stop? Will Newsom?
I’ll believe it when I see it.

Now to find out if he will obey the order, find a way around it, or just ignore it and do what he wants anyway.
Calif. Gov Newsom and Mi. Gov. Whitmore can cry on each others’ shoulder, or in each others’ beer, over the similar ruling for their respective state court system.

The courts have ruled against Grusom and wHitler. If they ignore the rulings, it’s time for the people to remove them from office post haste.
And I’m not speaking of a recall.
MI governor Witless just did an around-run and ordered the MI health department to re-issue all her dictatorial decrees. Nothing changed except to add more punitive ‘laws’.
But, good news, the people are finally giving her and her health department the ‘finger’. I haven’t worn a mask in a week except to vote. And even then, I did not cover my nose. So there.

The judge in Maine’s Superior Court scolded the people who brought suit against General Mills.
Next time you hear that Mainers are independent don’t believe it.
