GP: President Trump announced on Monday that he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and is already arranging a meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The US could help Ukraine a lot better by helping it restore its economy. This would be a much better deal than sending them military aid, which does not have a lot of economic impact after it is used. Like if you fire 100 rounds out of a howitzer, their value is used up, gone.
The deal could be a land swap for economic aid to help Ukraine get back on its feet and with hopes of having a good future without becoming part of NATO, which Russia will not abide by.
