CainTV: The wiggle room she left herself is both gigantic and obvious.

Maybe it’s silly to parse Hillary’s words about anything. The simplest way to analyze anything she says – and probably the most accurate – is to simply assume she’s lying. But you know she’s surrounded by political strategists who obsess over every word they’re going to put in her mouth. And they do this because they know what she’s really going to do if she’s elected, and they want to be able to come back later and plausibly claim she didn’t lie.

So when she promised in her DNC speech that she wasn’t going to try to take your guns away, look how she worded that promise:

And if we’re serious about keeping our country safe, we also can’t afford to have a President who’s in the pocket of the gun lobby.  I’m not here to repeal the 2nd Amendment. I’m not here to take away your guns. I just don’t want you to be shot by someone who shouldn’t have a gun in the first place.

We should be working with responsible gun owners to pass common-sense reforms and keep guns out of the hands of criminals, terrorists and all others who would do us harm.

Well this sounds wonderfully responsible, does it not? Hey! You! It’s OK for you to have a gun. Just not people who shouldn’t have guns, like criminals, terrorists and all others who would do us harm.

So who are they?

  1. Or serial rapists. A serial rapist should not be allowed to own a gun or associate with anyone who owns a gun.

    I should like to see that law passed and enforced before we try anything else. And for any Hillary voter that would mean Bill”s secret service service detail would only carry pepper spray.

  4. Of course she wants the guns! She’ll do anything (ANY THING!) the people who pay her, ask her to do. ANY THING! She has no anchor, no motivation for being president other than the sheer power of it. She doesn’t care, one way or another, about any particular issue. She can hold forth from any position on any issue, it only depends on what the pollsters and focus groups tell her will sell. If a winning demographic is college students, then it’s “free college!” If it’s urban, black welfare families, then it’s “economic justice!” We’ve all seen it. She could not care less. She is a heartless _______.
