My sainted fraternal grandpap loved “Beretta”. I can still remember parts of the intro song. “Don’t go to bed with a price on your head, no,no, don’t do it, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time”. “Keep your eye on the sparrow, when the going gets narrow”. There’s more, just can’t remember it all. Grandpap would sing that song while he tinkered in his shop when I was his “helper” as a kid. 1975 or so? God, I’m old!!!
