JTN: Actor Ryan O’Neal on Friday died at the age of 82, his son Patrick confirmed.
“So this is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to say but here we go. My dad passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us,” he stated, according to TMZ.
The actor was known for his Oscar-nominated role in 1970’s “Love Story” as well as his performances in “Peyton Place,” “A Bridge Too Far,” and “The Driver,” among others.
He was also known for his life partnership with actress Farrah Fawcett. He had four children, including one with Fawcett.

I was on a Ryan O’neal kick a few months ago. Other than Paper Moon and Driver, watched a few others that you don’t hear much about – Wild Rovers, The Thief Who Came to Dinner and Nickelodeon. Like Super Toe, I always like him. RIP.

He did a great job on Bones too. Loved him in Paper Moon and Barry Lyndon. A real breadth of acting talent.
