After Allowing Mass Protests, Cuomo Says Large Crowds Are Obstacle to Reopening

Dan Bongino:

Never before in history has the media and Democrats in power done a collective 180 on an issue so quickly as when it came to social distancing. Within a single day, the media narrative went from chastising anyone who wanted as much as a haircut as a “grandma killer” to branding anyone who refused to gather in mass Black Lives Matter protests a “racist.”

And politicians didn’t even try to hide their hypocrisy, instead trying to justify it on the basis that it’s for the “right cause.” Unfortunately for their supposed logic, the coronavirus doesn’t have a social conscience, and cases exploded in the weeks following those protests (some of which is also due to increased testing, of course). Like those who attended these protests, most of the newly infected are younger, which we’d expect if the protests were responsible for spreading the virus. more

  1. @Armin Tanzarian — Yup. This is early run-up to the election in November. Can’t have crowds of people voting in person at polling places where it’s a lot harder to gimmick their ballots than it is at the post office.

  2. @armin you are correct, it’s all a scam. They can be on top of each other looting and roiting and causing chaois but no gathering for pray or friends and family get togethers. It’s the Communism manifesto 101. Now people can’t be at a bar together while sitting 6ft apart? It’s a scam and we have all been following it for 5 months. Scary how it’s easy to be fooled then to admit you have been.

    GOD Bless us all!!

  3. Wonder if Trump could extend the General Election (up to three months later, for example) in expectation that the virus will have burned itself out.

Then, the election can be lawfully executed without sleazy Democrat mandates or laws favoring mail-in balloting and various other illegal/suspicious schemes promoting illegal voting.

Such an announcement would likely send the news media back to franticly counting new deaths instead of new cases.
