On Wednesday morning, media outlets were running the story that President Donald Trump had failed to visit U.S. troops at Christmastime. By Wednesday afternoon, the media claimed Trump had made his visit to a war zone obvious in advance.
In between, media outlets that had earlier trumpeted Trump’s supposed non-visit to the troops were spinning the news that he had, in fact, visited by noting that it was his first visit to a war zone since taking office.
Left-wing Salon.com, for example, reported initially that Trump had failed to visit the troops during Christmastime, then changed its story and headline, but retained the anti-Trump spin.
“Trump sets new Christmas record: Finally makes first visit to combat troops,” it reported, adding that “Trump’s loyalty to his country has been called into question since the beginning of his presidency” because of allegations — still unfounded — of Russia “collusion.”

I’ve been hearing all day how the news media “Shamed” him into this spur of the moment trip. These idiots have no idea of what kind of advanced recon, planning and prep it would take to get a sitting President in and OUT of a War Zone.
Are the leaks just not coming like they used to, media NPCs? Sure seems that way. Maybe it’s all the chaos.

PS, Nobody knew where he was for about 8 hours. The 8chan guys had AF1 leaving Andrews and had track it to Hungary. After that it went dark. These same news agencies got wind of it and accused him of going to Turkey. A couple Marines tweeted where he was and immediately after that it was announced. So it’s not like they predicted it.
I find the best escape from fake, hate Trump news is to completely avoid the sites. Works great for me. Fake news me once, Fake news me never again.

Bad_Brad, I remember Barky made all the troops disarm before he graced them with his presence in Afghanistan in 2010. Two years later, he confiscated the forks of a bunch of Latino LEOS at a a campaign event in Florida. What a pansy.

Mr. _Brad, candidate DJT did a rally in my little town (Az), arrived by Shiny Black Vehicle at the rear of the venue, stopped, got out and schmoozed with the locals for several minutes before going inside. There were a helluva bunch of open carries in the crowd, and most everybody were CC.
He was cool as a cucumber, I’m sure his security troops were shitting razors till he went inside.
Give it a couple of days and it will be spun saying he should not have used government resources during a shutdown.
The filthy rotten media claims they prompted or shamed him. What would be great is if the President shows them some orders drawn up a few weeks ago that started the planning for the trip.

Tim Buktu it takes a lot of planing to move Potus and Flotus around. To go to war zones even longer,and they have one more stop before they come home.
