The lockdown was never intended to prevent anything other than a spike in the number of cases which would overwhelm the hospitals and the overall medical system.
Like anything else the government dictates to the people, the purpose mutates as it is put into practice and it changes into something else with a different purpose, something that probably can’t be gotten rid of.
Just think if we only allowed careers in government in the military and secret service how much better off our country would be.
I couldn’t believe during all those house hearings how many of those government pieces of shit had spent their entire adult lives in government and at least one of them was like a third generation government leech.
If I could wave a magic wand, we’d have one term for all elected officials and a max of 6 years employment for any bureaucrat.
Although I think it’s too late for any of that, I’m not sure we can trust the cops or military anymore when I see in some of these states the national guard doing whatever they’re told to do and cops arresting people for walking, sitting on the beach, going to the park, etc. One guy said Sunday, “we can try all of this and hopefully it works, but I think in the back of all of our minds we know the day is coming soon when we will have to declare war on our enemies within.”
In a way he’s already correct it is kind of what we’re doing. Strength in numbers, if they really try to start placing us under house arrest because we supposedly came in contact with someone who tests positive for the virus. Far too many people in this country have forgotten they work for us not the other way around, but those of us who know that, also know they won’t give up their power over us without a fight.
I had the mega eye-roll yesterday when “Shorty” said we can’t fully open the economy until we have a vaccine. His next comment was something about maybe the vaccine will work but maybe it won’t. Bottom line: The economy has to be kept throttled back to make the current admin. look incompetent.
