Why the fuck do the feds have the right to tell a state they can’t drill for oil? Are you a fucking state or a merely a region?
every governor of every oil drilling state (particularly the ‘red’ states) needs to set up some sort of ‘state strategic oil reserve’ program. then start drilling & refining, for ‘state emergencies’
then, declare ‘state emergencies’
the Federal Government was set up to work for the states, not vise-versa

Murky had been the senator and decided to step down in 2010. She promised that she would back whoever was chosen in the Republican primary.
Well, she lied.
For some reason (because he was Tea Party) she DIDN’T like who Alaska citizens chose (Joe Miller), so she started a write-in campaign. She was close (but down) when ‘they’ decided to accept people who couldn’t spell correctly ballots.
