Remember the movie Soul Plane? That was a comic farce. Now, the farce has become real. Do you really want to fly with these idiots? Everyone that boards one of their planes should be wearing a MAGA hat, but you just know that they wouldn’t permit that.

If I get on a plane, I want to go somewhere, not be a captive audience for someone to preach to me about THEIR beliefs for the next however many hours, ESPECIALLY someone with statutory authority over me AND someone who has opportunities to tamper with my food and beverages. A BLM pin tells me this is someone who can’t be trusted to even KNOW right from wrong, and THIS, you’re going to make responsible for the safety of people, Black…AND White?
…I’ve worn a uniform most of my adult life in one place or another, for working on cars, industrial equipment, and fighting fires and saving lives in my spare time, even the apron I wore to wash dishes in when I was just starting out.
And you know what personal ornamentation I was allowed on ANY of those uniforms?
NONE.
This was because of safety for one thing, since having a pin around machenery and/or violent mentals isn’t a great idea, but ALSO because NONE of my employers wanted me to have ANY message while THEY were paying me other than “I work for (this employer), how can I help you?”.
Bringing in OTHER crap is just something to fight over, because people can like REALLY weird things even WITHOUT advertising stupid political ideas. Besides, they call it a “Uniform” because you’re SUPPOSED to be UNIFORM. If I WANTED my employees to look like they just got on the plane for a vacation to Bimini, I could just not give them uniforms and tell them to wear whatever in the FIRST place. The uniform is meant to identify and unite the staff, NOT to differentiate them from each other or be unnecessarily off-putting.
And the OTHER reason that I am not permitted to ornament a unform to my personal taste?
EVERY ONE of those things I wore and wear a uniform for has exposure to customers.
The uniform is meant to project an aura of professionalism, of competence, that what I am and what I do is on full display so you can understand it by visual shorthand and so automatically have SOME confidence that I am what you are looking for to accomplish a service that you want, no more, and no less.
Putting some political pin on that uniform takes the focus off that IMMEDIATELY, and makes it look like not only YOU, but your EMPLOYER, endorses whatever you are wearing the pin for, and by extension, EVERYONE WHO DRESSES LIKE YOU.
So I see a BLM pin that is advertising a group of terrorist that I know for a FACT hates my race, my family structure, my nation, my friends in the Police, my very way of LIFE on my fucking STEWARDESS, then I not ONLY can’t have confidence that this person will fulfill their task of safeguarding my WHITE life with their OWN as they are SUPPOSED to, but ALSO this mauls my confidence in the ENTIRE FLIGHT CREW becasue I know the airline that permissioned this, that hired THIS person, ALSO hired THEM, and if they’re going to wave their politics in my face for hours in a confined metal tube where I can’t escape them, God only KNOWS what they will do with that power, or whether they will even choose to assist me in an emergency where THEY know the plane and I do NOT.

Funny thing SNS, I’m off in a couple hours for an AA flight to Seattle. 2200 miles away so driving ain’t going happen. And charter a flight? Must be nice but again, that ain’t happening at ~$6000/hr which makes my $100 ticket almost $1800.
I put a mask on to shop(to get in the door actually) at W/M. Well MM, shop somewhere else. Not happening. I have a lot less time(and money) to be jumping around to what boils down to to be virtue signaling to myself.
I know it’s bullshit and almost anyone telling me to wear one tells me that too. I have more important battles I need to put my time into than this.

…it’s pretty airport specific. Out of a smaller airport nearby we have a regular charter service that has regularly scheduled flights to some places, so it’s not really a full “Charter” in the sense that you are paying for a plane and flight crew for only yourself so much as paying a slight premium for a specific destination with just a few other people, but NO TSA wait so you don’t have to show up 2 hours early. I’d name them, but not sure how BFH feels about free advertising, and they probably don’t exist in Washington or Arkansas anyway, although it’s possible something similar exists where you are.
Also, out of the International airport, CVG, we have a LOT of carriers, from Delta on the high end to Frontier and Southwest on the low end so, if you don’t mind risking your life on questionable maintenance instead of lunatic political theories, you have a TON of options HERE without getting into an AA plane with an avowed Maoist who hates your White face in charge of your life for the next 2 hours.
I don’t know your luggage situation, either. The cut-rate guys tend to charge by the bag, even for carry on, but I can usually live out of a knapsack for a week that I don’t have to check if I’m out on business, so I typically wouldn’t have this issue even if I DIDN’T have a commpany footing the bill.
I don’t know if the smaller operators who actually do the feeder services, like American Eagle, have to follow American’s policies on things like this or not, it kind of depends on how their agreement is written, since they generally are NOT owned by the corporation, but DO have to present themselves as part of it. If you’re doing a long flight like that, though, you’re probably on a corporate owned jet like an Airbus 319 or a Boeing 737, so your flight attendant can be as racist as s/he WANTS to be with you, unless you are not yourself White, in which case they will likely leave you alone in favor of pinker meat, unless they feel the need to recruit as well.

And I will never have the priviledge myself as I do not have the hue they are looking for in this case, but from what I’ve heard from those who DO, they can be QUITE as unforgiving as Joe, if not MORE so, if a darker-skinned person rejects them as they see them as a “race traitor”, which is apparently worse than an Uncle Tom, and you KNOW how Democrats get if their slaves try to walk off the plantation even a little bit…
