Last week Facebook COO and feminist activist Sheryl Sandberg was back in the news with a new “Lean In” initiative, entitled #LeanInTogether. It’s an addendum to her original “Lean In” program that focuses on men. Specifically, Sandberg wants men to “support” women in their career goals by working less at their jobs and more on the home front so women can do less on the home front and work more at their jobs.
That’s not how Sandberg phrases it, of course, but it’s the inevitable result of her lofty goal. “My goal is very clear, which is that women run half our companies and countries and men run half our homes.”
Predictably, “Lean In” has been a spectacular failure. “Sheryl Sandberg’s 2013 book ‘Lean In’ has spawned lasting initiatives meant to spur the progress of women to positions of power in major corporations,” writes author and professor Steven Rhoads. But such efforts have failed since “most women who have dependent children don’t want to work full time, much less to put in the hours required of corporate titans.”
Ironically, the same week Sandberg was peddling her modified agenda for Lean In, a new study by the Council of Contemporary Families was released that shows fewer young people want gender equality at home!
Problem is, she’s all theory. Send her to the middle east for a dose of reality.
Between her and Suckerburg I just refuse to participate on fakebook anymore. I was instructed that I had to during the original forming of the first Richmond Tea Party, but 8 years later… no way. I used to engage in philosophical arguments with absolute idiots that would infuriate me. That’s the only value fakebook provides. It allows one to get a first hand look into the thinking of leftist moron trolls. It ain’t pretty.
I quickly disappeared, but some of my friends still send me stuff from that shit Hole, even though I’ve told them all that fb is not for me. They don’t get it.
How about this, you uppity broad: ALL the women who want to run companies or countries have THE SAME opportunities as men do, and likewise ALL the men who want to run homes have THE SAME opportunities as women do.
Yeah, I thought not. You don’t want real equality, do you?
If you don’t want to be a good wife to a husband you can and will respect then don’t get married! Go out and have your career and keep your yap shut concerning happily married folk. You will never realize the satisfaction your female ancestors had in being good wives and mothers. They were wiser and more content with their lives. You are bitter and angry, and likely don’t know how to make a good sandwich.

I’ve never been attracted to timid, obsequious women, nor those that are pretentious and cocky. Both are likely overcompensating for their issues. My wife was neither type. She was all woman, smart, attractive and made me laugh. She wasn’t perfect, but she was perfect for me. The world has changed since I last dated…and not for the better.
There is something wrong with a man who would be content with staying home and wiping snotty noses and kibitzing in cover clatches while their wives went out and brought home the bacon.

There are some men, who for various reasons become the house husband in a family.
Just as in any other family decision, it is none of our business to either applaud or criticize unless we understand the reasons.
My nephew, a teacher, has decided to stay home with an autistic son, while his wife, a lawyer works outside the home. As I said, it is a decision they made, and others may not know the circumstances and should not judge.
Well, fellow men now that we have built an infrastructure of magnificent proportions with our brawn and brains the Jennie come lately’s want to horn in and assume it as their own. Poor biddies, they can’t even use a screwdriver let alone a hammer, saw, jack hammer or a concrete mixer. Time for us to step aside and let them do the hard, backbreaking labor needed to keep it maintained and up and running!

Go deep into your computer and find the way to turn off ‘autocorrect’. To me, it’s one of the silliest items of programming, as one constantly has to apologize for utilizing it.
I thank my dad, eons ago, for suggesting that ‘bathroom time’ was also ‘dictionary reading time’…my brothers and I sure learned a lot while making ‘Obamas’!
Sandburg cannot believe that men and women will ever be exactly equal. She just needs endless reasons to nag and whine.
So, I guess they’re scrapping the “Bend Over” program?
When my wife and I chose to have children we discussed what to do. Was it better for our children to have my wife continue to work and pay someone else to raise our children?
We chose to have my wife nurture and care for our children. It was a difficult decision financially, we didn’t take vacations, go out to eat, have newer cars or nicer things, but for us it was the right decision.
I doubt while growing up our children felt the same, until they were older and faced the same decision.
I would love an opportunity to talk in a public forum with this woman. Her premise supposes that it is infinitely more important to run corporations and countries than to build the foundations of both of them — intelligent, emotionally competent human beings; male and female.
Then I’d hit her with this:
