Americans have dismal view of Ivy League elites running government

JTN: Americans appear somewhat distrustful of the college-degree holding Ivy League elites running Washington, with many concerned that government made up of such individuals may not properly represent the country.

A plurality of registered voters (41%) hold a negative view of the abundance of national leaders hailing from Ivy League schools such as Harvard and Yale, according to a Scott Rasmussen National Survey. more

    “I’d rather be ruled by the first 100 names in the phone book than by the faculty of Harvard.” (or something to that effect – probably shouldn’t be in quotes – but – what the hey!)

    Regardless, just because one does the book work, doesn’t make him/her an expert. Yet because they did the book work, they do believe they are experts. Don’t have to go far back in this years history to see that played out (Stockton Rush–Princeton educated). I believe what the American people don’t like, is their arrogance.

  3. Amy carpenter grand dad showed me how DUMB Ivy League “expert”. have been over 120 years in 1952. “experts said in 1920 Signal hill would b e pumped dry in 1930! In 1952 he said. “We’re pumping 7 times as much today as we did win 1920! Ivy Leafy DUMMIES like Bush and Obama are dumb. OK I editorialized!

    BTW. I never voted for GWB nor his acolyte BHO!

    One of the reasons I was a Ronny fan 70 years ago was he frequently made fun of dumb Ivy Leaguers!
