Americans who question government now ‘threat actors,’ DHS says

American Thinker:
By Eric Utter

A new federal terror advisory contains a threat assessment that characterizes Americans who “mislead” others into questioning government-approved messages as being on par with terrorists.  That is as anti-American messaging as could be imagined.  America was founded on questioning governments, foreign and domestic.  And that has been her saving grace, the reason for her unique success.

The assessment specifically identifies those who engage in “the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions” as “threat actors.”  It also cites “widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19” as having a deleterious effect on government institutions.

Actually, it’s the actions of government institutions that often have a deleterious effect on (people’s views of) government institutions…and on the people.  But no matter — our First Amendment rights are out the window.  Nineteen eighty-four is here.  “Wrongthink” has been criminalized.

If not stopped — and reversed — this is the end of the Great Experiment and the Land of Opportunity.

So, fellow threat actors, what are we to do about this? read more h/t NAAC

  1. Donald J Trump said today, in reference to the truckers, you can only push people so far, and we are there. He’s more correct than he probably realizes. Eventually Tyranny will not be tolerated. Law Enforcement better think long and hard about what side of history they want to be on.

  2. Since the government lies to you
Since the government spies on you
Since the government does not care about you
Since the government can not be trusted with your money
Since the government would prefer to jail you then listen to you
Why should we trust them, believe in them, or make their lives easier?

They have viewed me as undesirable for years, sounds like now they are just growing their enemies list.

  3. I figure I’m on several of their lists. I tell politicians in e-mails, letters, phone calls and to their face on the rare occasions they come back to their state/district(state rinos I hate as well) what I think about them and our government.
I routinely talk on the phone to friends and family about government, plandemic, death jab and how communist our country has become.
I comment on this blog and social media.

I honestly do not care, the way I look at it I’ve lived my life, I did the important things to me, been a good wife, raised my children to know how to take care of themselves, they all make their own living, know how to grow, hunt and process their own food. Yeah I would like to see my grandkids reach adulthood, but they’re now old enough to know how much I love them and to remember what I’ve taught them and what I didn’t get to they have parents to finish.
SO the government can kiss my ass and if they come for me they best be ready to kill me because I won’t go willingly.

  4. And Trump was the Tyrant in their minds.

I also never remember Trump getting on the Phone and Blasting Justine Turdeau like the Biden admin did to him about the truckers and his ability to piss standing up.

Looks good on Canada after everyone publicly took jabs at Trump. I take relish in the fact that Borris Johnson has been humiliated. Donald never should have helped him.

What an Orwellian, commie psy-op thing to say. Our government truly has been weaponized against the citizenry.

  6. “You are Threat Actors”, say the feds in khakis with matching shirts, hats and shields, posing as anti-abortion, anti-mandate, anti-CRT, pro-Constitution Americans.

Who are the real actors, and who poses the real threat, Fedbois? Methinks thou doth project too much.

  7. It is certainly an affirmation that they (Gov’t Apparatchiks) don’t consider We, the People of the United States, as the Government – but as subservient to the Apparatchiks.

They (Gov’t Apparatchiks) need to read the Constitution – or be taught a lesson in the concept of Self-Government.
