We know this not because of her constant drumbeat of vulgarity and promiscuity, or even because she profits from that vulgarity and promiscuity. We know it because if anyone dares to make a joke about her vulgarity or promiscuity, she reacts with the righteous indignation of a wronged nun.
On Sunday night, a 17-year-old kid named Jackson Murphy attended the Critics Choice Awards and took a picture with Schumer. Murphy then tweeted at Schumer,

I’m pretty sure I saw her on Red Eye several years ago—she got into an argument with one of the other guests over abortion and after a commercial break she was gone.
