God bless him indeed. It is hard for honkies to grasp the hood mentality and how peer pressure makes it very difficult for people of color to even try to improve their lot. I have seen it over the years with my children’s friends. Very intelligent kids who get shiite from their peers if they do well in skrewl, or speak without a negro dialect, have a job, etc..
In some cases the pressure begets violence and can become quite dangerous.
