Andrew “America Was Never That Great” Cuomo: New York Will ‘Move Forward’ with Progressive Agenda

Breitbart: Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo vowed on Tuesday evening to govern with a left-wing agenda in his third term, raising suspicions that the governor is boosting his national profile to prepare for a presidential run in 2020.

Cuomo kicked off the start of his third term with an inauguration speech on Ellis Island in New York with several politically-charged statements against President Donald Trump and vowed to enact “the most progressive agenda this state has ever seen” in the first 100 days of his third term.

“We will make history and New York will move forward, not by building a wall, my friends, but by building new bridges,” he said, referring to Trump’s efforts to fortify a wall on the U.S. southern border with Mexico.  more here

  1. Hey Cuomo. Didn’t you get the memo?

Democrats will NEVER EVER AGAIN nominate a white male for the presidency.
You have to be a member of a protected class so that you are immune from criticism and be able to label critics some sort of “-ist”. Anti Italian won’t work you dummy.

  2. “We will make history and New York will move forward, not by building a wall, my friends, but by…” getting 30 Billion dollars from the taxpayers. Not NY taxpayers, federal taxpayers. And that is 30 Billion.
He wants 30 Billion dollars from the government to build a new tunnel into the city. That would be federal tax dollars. Some of that would come from me, and I don’t like that. Isn’t NY giving amazon tax free status? Hundreds of millions for them. Many hundreds of millions. And they’re wooing google, too. They are subsidizing the deterioration of upstate NY commerce. Take a drive through Glens Falls sometime- it is sort of like detroit junior. And they are certainly not unique.
If he is so opposed to 5 billion for a border wall why does he think he should get 30 billion to duplicate what they already have? They already have bridges and tunnels, they shouldn’t need more. They can just ‘make do’ like they expect to be done along the border.
