Most conservatives I know have all but given up on the hope that the special counsel investigation underway by John Durham will ever result in prosecution of the miscreants who used the intelligence apparatus to spy on the Trump administration under cover of the Russiagate hoax. The shockingly light penalty in the plea deal exacted on the FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who lied to the FISA Court on warrant applications seemed to indicate that Durham is not serious about punishing serious wrongdoing.
But there is still the possibility that Clinesmith revealed some secrets that implicate higher-ups, even though the fruits of such possible cooperation with prosecutors have not been evident yet.
Friday, the disgraced and fired former number two at the FBI, Andrew McCabe, used some interesting language about the Durham investigation in a segment broadcast on CNN, where he now works as a contributor. It came in a segment that was supposed to be attacking Trump (of course, this characterizes most CNN reports that are not weather forecasts). Daniel Chaitin of the Washington Examiner writes: more

Durham? Does he even exist? McCabe is playing his role.
Yeah, right. Not going to happen. Durham had years to bring charges and did nothing. Now that the left holds the Prez, the Senate, and the Congress, I do not see him pressing forward. Even if he had obvious proof, nothing would happen.

Durham is just feather nesting his fat taxpayer funded retirement. It’s the same old DC game.
Nervous with his round bottom plumped in a comfy chair at CNN, or NPR, or whichever media outlet is letting him sigh and moan in the current week. If anybody deserves to be detained indefinitely while under investigation, it’s him, and not the innocent patriots of January 6th.

No need to worry about the Media, courts, voters, etc.
McCabe has that creepy look {as does Merrick Garland} that makes a normal man avoid.
He’s the type that if you’re the only guy using an otherwise empty row of urinals in an airport restroom, he’ll decide to use the one directly next to you.
If you understand the sting, you will know why it is taking so long. At that time you will accept that it has to be completed by the book to get convictions. We only have one chance to get this right.
When it’s over, you will marvel at the sheer magnitude of the work that has been done to save this country. Think positive!
